- Are you ready for the new school year?
- Looking for a way to get charged?
- How about trying out some new ideas for your German
classes?
- Want to immerse yourself in German language and culture in a new and different way?
Here's how it works: a group of approximately 20 secondary school teachers of German will be selected to attend a one-week intensive session in German language, methods and culture at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. During this week, teachers will immerse themselves in German language and culture and will participate in sessions on a variety of topics including advanced language seminars, strategies to increase students' use of German in the classroom, "Jugendliteratur," songs in German instruction, making movies, theater in the German classroom, German holiday celebrations, and many more.
SCHEDULE FOR THE MIDWEST SUMMER WORKSHOP

New ideas in methods as well as immersion in German language and culture will give participants that initial head start they feel they need.
