The Russian Minor (18 semester hours)
provides language competence and exposure to Russian literature and culture at the advanced level. A minimum cumulative g.p.a. of 2.5 is required for courses taken at Miami. Courses for the Russian minor must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit), unless the course is offered for credit/no credit only. Study abroad in the department's summer program in Novgorod or other programs is recommended.
This minor satisfies the Thematic Sequence Requirement of the Miami Plan.
