Provides intensive studies in the languages and cultures of East Asia, focusing on Japan and China. Students can choose either from
- i) the Japan Concentration
- ii) the China Concentration, or
- iii) the Combination of Japan and China
Related hours which are requirements for the three cases provide broadly based background for both the three curricula. Study abroad is encouraged. Credits earned abroad may count toward the major.
