This program gives upper-class students the opportunity to
work closely with a Miami faculty member to explore careers
in academia. As a participant in the program, Students
typically work for a semester with a faculty member
assisting with many academic responsibilities such as
teaching, grading, attending governance meetings, or
engaging in research. All students who complete the UA
program will receive a transcript notation. Honors students
who complete the program will receive both a transcript
notation and credit for an Honors experience. Contact the
